I can’t help but stare at the ceiling every night… each new client and each new industry we enter is grounds for calmly speaking to myself (audibly of course) telling myself to “calm down…” Not from nervousness… psh please… but from diving into each new client’s world. Each new client provides an opportunity to become obsessed. Obsessed with their audience, obsessed with their perfect customer and obsessed with what makes that perfect customer tick… The only thing I’ve found that calms that obsession… outside of skydiving, is attracting and closing them. Creating an online machine that brings business marriages only dreamt of in fairy tales to life. Remember, prospecting is a giant waste of time. Prospecting doesn’t make you or me money. Closing deals does. Selling products does. What makes my heart pound is getting people out of the prospecting, smilin’ and dialin’ rut and into the closing deals anti-rut. Most marketing is a giant waste of time and money. Focusing on vanity metrics and feel good mumbo jumbo. (Page likes, followers, “impressions” HAH) Ever try to take your page likes to the grocery store and see if you could buy an apple? It’s pretty fun to try (Most other agencies do :D ) We specialize in the thing no one wants to.. making dough yo. We’re metrics based, not vanity based. If your ads, sales processes and funnels aren’t predictably producing pah pah pah profit… They aren’t sales processes. They’re hope machines. I’m glad our paths have crossed today.
