Bidaya Home Finance is sponsored by the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector, a member of the Islamic Development Bank (ICD) and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. The mandates of ICD and PIF are integral to the formation of Bidaya and its social mandate to participate and improve in the expansion of home ownership opportunities to Saudi Arabian families. The shareholding group of Bidaya includes a cross-section of organizations committed to the expansion of home ownership and is comprised of notable family conglomerates, the government sector, a publicly traded company, and a multilateral financial institution. Bidaya Home Finance is established as a joint stock company in April 2015. The Company will focus on distributing home finance contracts to retail consumers seeking middle and upper income bracket residential real estate. The Company has paid-up capital of SAR 900 Million and operates from its headquarters located in Riyadh with a rapid expansion plan to serve major markets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
