Temple College offers an Associate Degree Nursing program in Temple, and Vocational Nursing programs in Temple and Taylor. These programs have earned a reputation for excellence in the Central Texas healthcare community and throughout the state. Temple College nursing students are in high demand for employment at area hospitals and other health care facilities. On the Temple campus, the nursing programs are housed in the Dell Martin Nursing Education Center, which is located on the east campus. The classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual and computer technology to enhance the learning experience. The Simulation Center is equipped with specialized computerized manikins and models to simulate patient care situations. Nursing students also enjoy the state-of-the-art Simulation Center in the Health Sciences Center. Admission to each of these programs is highly competitive. Each program has a specific application process with deadlines. Information sessions are held the first Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Dell Martin Nursing Education Center. Interested students are strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions.
