Unison Enviro Private Limited (‘UEPL’) is a subsidiary of Ashoka Buildcon Limited carrying on business of City Gas Distribution (‘CGD’). CGD Business is regulated by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (‘PNGRB’). UEPL has currently received authorisations from PNGRB for setting up city gas distribution infrastructure in three Geographical Areas (‘GAs’) viz., Ratnagiri district, Chitradurga & Devangere districts and Latur & Osmanabad districts. While authorisation for the Ratnagiri GA was received from the PNGRB during the 6th CGD Bidding Round, the authorisations for Latur & Osmanabad districts and Chitradurga & Devangere districts were received from the PNGRB during the 9th CGD Bidding Round. UEPL is currently developing gas distribution infrastructure for the supply of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to domestic, commercial and industrial consumers and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for vehicles. It has already started commercial operations in Ratnagiri GA while operations in Chitradurga & Devangere districts and Latur & Osmanabad districts are likely to begin in FY 2020-21. UEPL has its mother station at Dingni Kuran in Ratnagiri. A total of 11 CNG stations have been commissioned so far in Ratnagiri GA out of which one is a Satellite LNG station.
