Karma foundation is a registered animal NGO established in January, 2018 vide registration no. MAHA/65/2018/Pune dated 12/01/2018. (Encl) We are registered under section 12AA of the income tax act, 1961 vide order no. PN/CIT(Exemp.)/Tech/12AA/Pune Rg/96/151/2018-19/1636 dated 03/07/2018 (Encl) & section 80G of the income tax act, 1961 vide order no. PN/CIT(Exempt.)/Tech/80G/780/2018-19/3014. (Encl) Our Vision & Mission is as below:- ► To provide medical help to animals who fall prey to cruelty, accidents, fights and ailments ► To control the growing population of cats & dogs in the country in a humane way. ► To find homes for specially abled animals that cannot survive on the streets. ► To eradicate the spread of rabies. ► To sensitize & educate the youth about animals & their purpose. ► To research & find a treatment for common viruses found in cats & dogs. Sections in our Animal Hospital & Shelter:- ► 50 Dog Kennels ► 100 Cat Cages ► 4 Dogs Quarantine Kennels ► 4 Cat Quarantine Cages ► Out Patient Department (OPD) ► Operation Theater (OT) ► “Yodha” (Half Way Home for Specially Abled Animals) ► Diagnostics Department Till date we have achieved the following:- · Sterilized 5000+ cats & dogs in Pune City · Rescued treated & released 4000+ dogs & cats. · Homed 50+ animals (Stray adoptions are very difficult) · Vaccinated (Anti Rabies) 10000+ animals. · Provided OPD treatment to 1500+ animals.
