Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Cal Poly, or more commonly known as CSAI Cal Poly, is an artificial intelligence club at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. CSAI aims to share knowledge and spread ideas on cutting edge AI technologies with students across campus, as well as connect them to companies recruiting AI talent with hands-on experience. We embrace a learn-by-doing approach by collaborating on group projects focused on various aspects of AI, such as natural speech recognition. Our current project for spring-fall is a smart-speaker system which wakes up upon a wake-word. In addition to our projects team, we hold weekly hour-long meetings and workshops where we share tutorials on AI and host companies interested in recruiting AI talent.
