Swee Lee Company was founded in 1946 after World War II in response to the local British military band's need for brass and woodwind instruments. The birth of Rock ‘n' Roll in the 1950s kick-started public demand for popular musical instruments, and Swee Lee was there to supply them with their various needs. With the formation of the Scouts movements, other local uniform groups and school bands, the music business flourished. Since the 1960s, Swee Lee has been able to identify and capitalise on market trends in the music industry, quickly moving and expanding into various segments of the music business. Today, Swee Lee provides music education and professional audio visual consultancy services through its subsidiaries. Swee Lee has grown from being a local merchant of musical instruments to a regional distributor of specialist concert equipment, Pro Audio equipment and Audio DSP equipment, with a network of offices in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China and India. We are proud to carve our niche as a distributor of musical instruments and accessories, representing foreign brands of musical instruments such as Peavey, Roland, Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, Ibanez, Tama, Pearl, Sabian, Premier, Laney, D'addario, Selmer Paris and Karl Hofner, amongst many others.
