Since 2016, the Office of Research and Innovation engages in encouraging production and dissemination of applied research by all Applied Research Centers of the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), connects researchers and systemates the scientific production and results. In line with FGV's mission, the Network aims to stimulate the production of content that generates social impact and contributes to the socioeconomic development of the country, to the improvement of national ethical standards, and to responsible and shared governance. The Network is also responsible for the Ethical Compliance Committee on Research Involving Human Beings at Fundação Getulio Vargas (CEPH), a collegiate body of advisory, deliberative and educational character whose role is to assess potential impacts on human beings who participate as subjects of research in social and human sciences and to promote and safeguard the highest standards of ethical and legal compliance involving human subjects.
