Urusharta Jamaah (UJ) is an asset management company wholly owned by the Minister of Finance (Incorporated), tasked with a 10-year mandate to manage assets transferred from a Government Linked Investment Company (GLIC) in 2018. With the objective of facilitating an improved financial position for the GLIC, UJ is committed to restructuring its acquired assets and maximising asset recovery value. UJ was designed to minimise the significant impact to the financial ecosystem resulting from the rescue plan of the GLIC.
