Ch. G. Sakellaridi was founded in 1966, focusing in international trade and representations of Greek products abroad. Originally the company exported mainly textiles and clothing, successfully completing trade agreements in target-markets such as the USA. Its successful international presence, has lead in cooperation with Big International Commercial Powerhouses for their representation in the Greek Market, such as Marks & Spencer and Jaeger of London (1977 to 1986), soon followed by a landmark agreement with the retail chain Continent (later Carrefour). Foreseeing the trends in the Greek external trade, the owner of the company, Mrs. Christina G. Sakellaridis, was directly involved in the financial sector through INTERINVEST INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENTS S.A., a closed-end investment fund, listed in the Athens Stock Exchange and a series of other enterprises such as Hellenic European Investments SA, FACT HELLAS S.A. and INTRADE S.A. (in 1997 for supporting Greek export companies). Today, the company’s main objective is focused and strategic development services, especially targeted in the internationalization of Greek companies of all sizes and sectors. Moreover, the company has signed agreements with foreign companies that are interested to invest in Greece and to network with Greek enterprises and organizations. Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Organization has certified CH.G.S. with the standard Quality Management System ISO 9001, in 2011.
