Indico Project
www.indicoproject.comIndico project is a non-profit project that was set to create a medium through which Mozambican students around the world in foreign universities could gain advice, and contact with companies for Internships and Jobs after graduation. It also focuses on interpersonal development through a wide range of activities (talks, leadership exercises / events, and management exercises). This came as an initiative due to the fact that many Mozambican Students in Malaysia (MyMoz) students who had gone for internships and were involved in job searches, had faced severe difficulties, which delayed their internships, placed them in inadequate workplaces or no workplace at all for a good amount of time for those who had already graduated. Therefore it was seen that a unified front needed to be created in order to display a highly credible standard for the MyMoz community and Mozambican students studying else where. So that when companies are approached by professionals with this label, they know that these people have a certain number of special and more advantageous skills. Skills which the project intends to instill in the students through pushing them to leverage on extra-activities, workshops and seminars from higher education institutions and industry professionals to develop leadership, cultural and innovative backgrounds.
