The Portuguese Blockchain Alliance main objective is the development of an ecosystem that brings together companies, academia, and Portuguese governmental entities in order to endow the business system with solid knowledge about blockchain. The Alliance intends is open to all players of the Portuguese economy and thrives to prepare as much as possible the revolution that this technology will impact in most of the economic sectors. In parallel, the Alliance aims to encourage the development of solutions based on Blockchain. To promote Blockchain technology, the Alliance will carry out various technology awareness and information initiatives, such as a multiple sandbox portal where it will be possible to experiment with and develop Blockchain-based solutions.
