Farmavita d.o.o. Sarajevo has been operating successfully since 1991 as one of the first privately owned pharmaceutical wholesalers on the domestic market. In 2005, Farmavita began a long term project of producing its own generic pharmaceuticals in cooperation with renowned partners. This is its strategic commitment in the coming years. The result of this approach is the successful existence of two enterprises, pharmaceuticals production and with significant and continuous growth since its formation. Our production, business growth and development has been accompanied by significant investment in infrastructure in accordance to GMP guidelines. In the past years, a system for quality management compatible to principles of globally harmonized pharmaceutical regulations has been set up. Farmavita owns a GMP and the ISO 9001:2008 Certificate as proof of the successful administration of all business operations in accordance with strict GMP guidelines and the demands of the international standard for quality management, ISO 9001:2008. Farmavita has a clearly defined commitment to protecting the environment and this is an integral part of its business policies. The integral system we have set up for the management of hazardous waste and emissions into air and water, as well as the monitoring and control of these emissions, and the proactive management of all safety aspects and protection of the environment have been confirmed by our acquisition of an environmental permit.
