The mission of the Utah Arts Festival is to promote the arts and enhance the quality of life in Utah through the production of an annual outdoor, multi-disciplinary event in downtown Salt Lake City. We strive to maintain the highest artistic quality in our production and programming, represent excellence among a range of artistic mediums, and promote an appreciation for fine art while encouraging innovation in the field, and supporting the creation of non-traditional, contemporary works. The Utah Arts Festival aims to serve as a gateway to the arts by providing affordable access to a diverse array of high-quality arts experiences for members of our community. We work hard to create an environment that is inclusive, welcoming, and easily accessible. On average 80,000 patrons hailing from across the Wasatch Front attend the Utah Arts Festival each year. Sixty percent of attendees take advantage of one of our numerous discount opportunities. Free admission is provided to children 12 and under and complimentary tickets are made available to agencies serving low-income and disabled populations.
