Abrahams Meese Lawyers (AML) was founded in 1983, when Sam Abrahams and Greg Meese merged their existing practices. Since the year 2000, the firm has been based in Melbourne’s CBD, first under the stewardship of Sam Abrahams and, since 2014, of Andrew Norman who had spent more than a decade developing his expertise in all aspects of AML’s practice. In 2020, Abrahams Meese Lawyers merged with Proxenia Legal and welcomed Julian Wyatt as a partner, greatly expanding its dispute resolution capability, including by offering clients in Australia and abroad Dr Wyatt’s rare expertise in arbitration, international law and cross-border litigation. AML now allows clients to draw on the services of Australian lawyers with broad capability and substantial expertise in property law and dispute resolution, a conveyancing and probate clerk, and access to a network of foreign lawyers in boutique firms across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, North America and South America.
