These services have been centered on three specific areas: Rolling Stock Acquisition and Overhaul Capitol GCS provides Program Management Oversight services to transit agencies across the country in support of their bus and rail vehicle projects. By leveraging our staff of senior transit industry veterans, we ensure that acquisition and overhaul projects come in on time, on budget, and meet the technical specification requirements. Transit Operations Our team of former senior transit agency executives can provide expertise in any area of agency operations. This includes, transportation master plan development, grant application development, acquisition planning, financial system management, bus / rail operations, rolling stock maintenance planning, and Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) Implementation Plan development. Oversight Services Capitol GCS has the experienced staff to ensure compliance with the requirements that accompany Federal Transit Agency (FTA) funding. We provide procurement systems reviews, financial capacity assessments, and technical oversight services to ensure transit agencies meet their funding requirements Capitol GCS is a woman owned business both SBE and DBE certified in 18 states. In addition, we are HUBZone certified on the federal level by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Based on our capabilities and certifications, we can provide expert transit industry support, DBE / HUBZone certified, across the country, on contracts at the metropolitan, state, or federal level.
