Chesterfield Montessori School was founded in 1981 as a not-for-profit independent school serving children from age 16 months through 15 years in the greater St. Louis area. We offer authentic Montessori programs at all levels. CMS is recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), which was founded in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori. Our beautiful, sunlit facility---which is an architectural award-winning building---is situated on five acres in Chesterfield, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. It includes a large swimming pool, two tennis courts, playgrounds and a children's garden. Our students come from many countries and diverse backgrounds and share the richness of their cultures with our school community.
