BioArchitecture is an emerging set of principles that takes advantage of natural living energetics beneficial to all living systems. To build and design, it is necessary to understand the geometrical patterns, fractality, and mathematical proportions that form life. Modern buildings today made of steel and concrete obstruct our human potential. Our goal in using BioArchitecture is to create living buildings, use natural materials, harmonize modern technology, and connect conscious design to enhance the future of living for today by improving the energetic health of the buildings we live and work in through design. Irena Škoda’s 30+ year architectural career experience in design ranges from affordable to high-end dwellings and multi-family residential buildings. Before opening her own architectural design practice in 2007, she worked as a Design Associate at the top residential firms in New York City, mapping out over 10 million square feet including work on towering 90-story residential buildings. Irena’s professional career spans all forms of building types, including the full spectrum of high-end luxury penthouses and high-density, commercial, hotel and multi-family residential mixed-use projects. Currently, the atelier architecture design studio is working on visionary wellness eco-community mixed-use projects that are self-sufficient and harmonized with the environment. The firm’s goal is working beyond the standard level of knowledge and expertise to form the future of design and construction with greater returns for our clients and maximized benefits to its occupants.
