Lumen Christi Catholic School is a NAPCIS accredited, independent Catholic PreK-12 school in downtown Indianapolis on the Holy Rosary campus. Lumen Christi Catholic School is established to teach the unity of faith and reason, through the Light that is Christ Jesus, for the formation of young Catholics in truth and virtue. Lumen Christi Catholic School is a private, Catholic school educating kindergarten through twelfth-grade students and governed by an independent Board of Directors. Committed to faithful adherence to the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church and witnessed by the yearly oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium taken by the Board, Faculty and Staff, Lumen Christi Catholic School is a response to the challenge of Pope John Paul II for a new evangelization. Lumen Christi Catholic School is open to all students, regardless of race, sex, or national origin. Lumen Christi Catholic School has been recognized as a Catholic Education Honor Roll School by The Cardinal Newman Society. The Society is perhaps best known for its Newman Guide for Choosing a Catholic College. Lumen Christi is one of the first K-12 schools on the honor roll, which historically included only high schools. It is the only K-12 school in Indiana on the Catholic Education Honor Roll.
