Our mission is to educate people on the importance of having a will, to explain the complications if passing-on interstate (without a valid will) or with limited information regarding their estate. This can create stress and anxiety for their families who are left behind at the worst possible time. A simple estate should be wound up in 1-3 months where there is a valid will in place and a professional executor involved, where this same estate could take years to administer without a valid will. In South Africa there are 7 million people out of a working population of 10 million people who don’t have a will. The majority of these people don’t have a will because they don’t know where to start the process and it takes too much time and money to see a lawyer.
