Richmond House School is an independent co-educational preparatory school providing a high standard of education for children aged 3 to 11 years. Located in Far Headingley, Leeds we are one of the few independent preparatory schools in Yorkshire to have achieved “excellent” in every category in our most recent full ISI inspection. We recognise that all our pupils have different strengths and characteristics and we identify and build on individual talents. Our highly skilled and dedicated staff are committed to giving each child the opportunity to develop into confident, hardworking, successful individuals, ready for senior school and the life beyond. We offer a challenging and varied curriculum, which includes French, Spanish and Drama as well as all of the National Curriculum subjects. Academic success is reflected in our 11+ examination results, with pupils having their choice of secondary schools and a substantial number being awarded scholarships each year. We are situated in 10 acres of land and offer a wide range of sports and, in addition, we have an excellent extra-curricular programme which gives our pupils the opportunity to participate in enjoyable activities and broaden their horizons.
