Wisconsin Playground Warriors, Ltd. is an elite level grassroots boy's basketball program for young men in grades 3-12. The Wisconsin Playground Warriors Basketball Program focuses its strengths and resources on developing the individual talents and skills of players within a team context. The purpose of the PGC program is to give basketball players in the State of Wisconsin the chance to compete against the best players in Wisconsin as well as the entire United States. The instructional and strategical methods used within the PGC program prepare student-athletes to play in a variety of basketball systems. Basketball instruction is facilitated by experience-based, contextual teaching strategies and learning situations. Player evaluation is done in a relevant manner on skills offered and demonstrated. Years of playing together with teammates, community members, and quality coaches gives players the cooperative and individual skills necessary to have a productive and quality career as a high school and possibly college basketball player. PGC players are also prepared to become responsible, productive members of a global community, ultimately responsible for their own destiny in both basketball and in life. The PGC program and coaching staff works very hard to maintain a solid relationship with the state's varsity boy's basketball coaches. Our player's number one priority is to their respective high school programs. The PGC simply offers the additional opportunity to compete against the very best during the spring and summer offseason. The Wisconsin Playground Warriors Basketball program believes that in order to become complete and discipline players, fulfilling basketball goals and dreams in a complex changing society and to continue learning the game of basketball, our student-athletes shall demonstrate knowledge, skills and attitudes in being the very best that they can be both on and off the court.
