Founded in 2003, TASC Towers is an independent tower operating company with a focus on developing markets. The Company has developed strong operating skills from its roots as a tower deployment company when it supported mobile operators in optimizing their network coverage. TASC Towers' current business focus is on i) acquiring portfolios of telecom towers from mobile operators and leasing them back to these operators on a long-term basis, ii) invest equity or debt capital to accelerate a tower operator’s growth prospects for example on acquisition-related projects, potentially ahead of an IPO and iii) invest equity in tower operators mandated on build-to-suit programmes. TASC Towers’ capital originates from infrastructure and private equity funds keen to develop exposure to the tower asset class across diversified markets. TASC Towers’ primary geographic focus is on the MENA region, Eastern Europe, Central and South Asia.
