Maastricht law firm Daamen, advocaten. In 2012, Dutch criminal defense lawyer Dirk Daamen started the firm “Daamen, advocaten.”, after having worked for almost five years as a lawyer at one of Holland’s most famous law firms: Moszkowicz Advocaten. Criminal defense lawyer Justin Luiten joined the firm in november 2014. Hans Schepers moved to the firm in 2016 and Ruben Kool is the firm’s newest addition. The firm handles all types of criminal cases. The lawyers provide legal assistance to adults and juveniles who are suspected or accused of a crime, but also assist victims (injured party). The firm distinguishes itself by conducting many procedures before the Supreme Court (only in criminal cases!). They also assist detainees with their legal problems, such as transfers, leave, and complaints about the treatment (penitentiary law).
