Missions Door is a Christian mission organization that supports and promotes indigenous missionaries who minister in their local communities. Missions Door is currently represented in over 25 nations and works with over 250 missionaries. Join us in - Following Jesus Christ - Working together as culturally-diverse people - & Generating faith communities! Missions Door began in 1950. Since then it has been called the Conservative Baptist Home Mission Society, Mission to the Americas, and finally, Missions Door. The organization has worked fervently to use local missionaries to -Demonstrate our love for Jesus Christ through servant leadership -Experience cultural, racial, gender and economic diversity -Develop relevant ministries that are vision and opportunity driven -Minister among the poor, the culturally diverse, the next generation and all unreached people -And to impact our world for Christ and His Kingdom. WHY INDIGENOUS MINISTRY People from the areas they’re serving are often the best missionaries. They know the culture and language. They understand aspects that someone outside might not. And they’ve experienced firsthand the joys and hardships unique to that community. Whether it’s a small group, a church in a small town, or university, these are missionaries who love their community and want to bring Jesus to them.
