The Committee for Academic Excellence
www.thecae.orgThe Committee for Academic Excellence (CAE) is a consortium of educators, doctors, legal professionals, businesses, parents and community based organizations dedicated to strengthening the community through higher levels of educational achievement, character development, professional collaboration and family involvement. Established in 2003, the CAE was originally formed to assist Kid's Community College®, a premiere provider of high-quality early childhood education, in realizing its ONE3 (One Team, One Vision, One Mission) vision of offering education enrichment activities, tutoring, fundamental computer training and adult literacy programs to the community. Recognizing the greater need to better serve the community and to provide its ONE3 outreach programs to all levels of the community, the committee became incorporated as a non-profit later that year. The CAE utilizes local, state and national channels to partner with communities and stakeholders that have a vested interest in strengthening our underserved communities by providing a strong foundational system of learning that supersedes the need for later remediation. The best predictor of future academic and community success is the investment we make today. As ONE team, we can shape the future.
