We provide education and consulting to a broad spectrum of workforces encountering stress and intense workloads. Our training assists helping professionals to understand and address the natural consequences of working in a high-stress and trauma-exposed workplace. In 2002, our Executive Director, Françoise Mathieu. began offering training and education on compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress. A few years later, and with the expertise of organizational health expert Dr. Patricia Fisher, TEND was founded. Their shared mission of “helping the helper” has been the catalyst for two decades worth of training and resources.
