Katie Linendoll Productions, LLC is the outgrowth of Katie’s successful career as an Emmy Award-winning TV personality, journalist, consumer technology expert, global consultant and one of the leading women in the field of technology. As one of the most in-demand technology experts worldwide, Linendoll is recognized by a wide-range of audiences for her reporting and frequent appearances as an expert contributor for major media outlets including NBC’s “TODAY” show, “The Rachael Ray Show” and numerous other shows on HLN, FOX News, The Weather Channel, Popular Science and more. As a successful, independent journalist in the fast-paced media market, Linendoll created her own video and digital production company so that she would have the freedom to cover the stories that she feels most passionately about. With her team, Linendoll shoots, produces and edits her own tech news stories in some of the most exotic and extreme locations in the world, ranging from a remote community in the Philippines in the wake of Super Typhoon Haiyan to NASA’s zero gravity training lab 63-feet underwater off the coast of the Florida Keys. Many of these cutting-edge technology stories have gained feature placement on major media outlets including but not limited to Weather Channel, Popular Science, CNN.com and Men’s Journal. The hands-on time in the field and in-depth research that Linendoll devotes to her stories sets her apart from her contemporaries. Always on the hunt for the next big breakthrough, Linendoll is on the road more than 250 days a year covering the latest, life-changing technological innovations, which she refers to as “Around the World in Katie Days.” Her most recent stories include traveling to Iceland, for a three-part series exploring the island’s cutting edge environmental sustainability, featured on The Weather Channel, and an upcoming trip to Fairbanks, Alaska with Cannon to learn how professional photographers capture the ellusive Northern Lights. Katie’s passion for technology dates back to her childhood. As one of the first women in tech to make significant contributions to the industry, she started her career at age 12 when she began coding and earned her networking certifications before graduating from high school. Linendoll went on to receive a degree in Information Technology New Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Following graduation, she began working behind-the-scenes in production for ESPN where she won an Emmy Award for her work on “SportsCenter” and was later responsible for contributing more than 60 written and digital pieces, as a sports tech expert. Following her work at ESPN, Katie was nominated for a second Emmy Award for her work as a co-host on A&E’s “We Mean Business,” a reality show designed to help revamp small businesses across the country. During her career, she has hosted more than a dozen shows, and series focusing on technology and innovation, and has also been named a special correspondent at major tech conferences including Comic-Con, CES, E3, Toy Fair, and Maker Faire. She is frequently booked as an emcee and moderator at major corporate events for clients including HP, IBM, Lenovo, Deloitte, Intel, Cadillac, Kronos, Teradata and GE, to name a few.
