Scenic Jacksonville, Inc. is a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and enhancing the scenic character of Jacksonville, Florida's natural and built environment. We have four areas of focus: Design, Development, Preservation - Advocating for design excellence, enhanced streetscapes and parks, and preserving our city's historic and natural assets. Trees and Landscapes - Replenishing and protecting the tree canopy, promoting streetscapes, natural landscapes and green infrastructure. Utilities - Placing utilities underground and minimizing the visual impact of utilities, cellular towers and equipment. Signage - Reducing billboards and ensuring commercial signage adheres to design standards. Scenic Jacksonville is an affiliate of Scenic America and Citizens for a Scenic Florida, working with those organizations on common state and national issues.
