IABC Nashville is the local chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, serving middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. In 2017, we received the Small Chapter of the Year Award for outstanding efforts to bring professional communicators together in meaningful and inspiring ways. We are one of more than 100 chapters in 70 countries, with a mission to provide learning opportunities for our members and professional development sessions that offer new insights into the latest communication trends, technology, and issues facing the industry. Our chapter is diverse, with members representing regional/national PR agencies, marketing firms, public/private corporations, government entities, universities, nonprofit organizations, consulting firms, and the freelance field. Our goal is to help members excel in their careers and achieve their own objectives, whether it’s being recognized for their work, strengthening their skills, advancing in their career, being exposed to new concepts and media, keeping up with the latest technology, or establishing a valuable network of professional contacts - we make it our business to make it happen.
