Universal Fireproofing Patch is a versatile, hand applied fire resistive material designed specifically for the patching and repair of damaged Spray-Applied Fire Resistive Materials (SFRM’s). It is easy to use and requires no special equipment. Just add water, mix thoroughly, and hand apply to match existing SFRM thickness. It is specifically designed as a patch material with unique additives to enhance bonding, thermal resistivity, and workability. UFP has excellent bond capability to steel and concrete substrates allowing a single patch size of up to 3 SF - 3 times the industry standard. - Fully vetted by 3 nationally recognized laboratories: VTEC, Intertek, and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). - Has a current and on going Quality Control Certification program with both Intertek and UL - Passed E-84, E-119, E-605, E-736 and UL 263 verification procedures. - Has been tested up to a successful 3 hour fire rating. - It is a single component mix, just add water. - Specifically designed for hand application, requiring only a small trowel. - Specifically tested for compatibility against existing SFRM materials.
