Our roots began with a focus on the treatment of traumatic and pathological bony fractures of both the spine and long bones as well as degenerative conditions of the spine. In addition to offering implants that provide mechanical and structural support via minimally-invasive and traditional access pathways, we also promote the latest biomaterials that aid in the healing processes for both the damaged bony anatomy and any related injury to the surrounding soft tissues. At A-W, our original focus was on Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic Spine Surgery, and Neurosurgery. We also recognized that, as the practice of medicine continued to evolve, both the physician specialists and associated procedures they performed changed as well. This is the reason we have dedicated much attention and resources over the years to the field of Interventional Radiology, with a particular focus on MSK. With regards to cancer treatment and total patient care, we consider ourselves to be an important part of the multidisciplinary, oncological team that is required in order to best serve these patients. With a continued focus on repairing damage to the bones, we seek to offer specialized solutions that are specific to the needs of the cancer fighters. This endeavor is a passion for the A-W team as the devastating impact of this disease has brought much sadness and loss to us in our personal lives.
