An Oxford based society dedicated to developing informed climate leaders, thinkers, movers and shakers. Our membership extends from students to professionals and the general public, welcoming all levels of interest and experience. We aim to connect individuals, enabling a more meaningful impact through collaboration. OCS Members receive opportunities to: 1 - Learn: OCS organises and publicises learning opportunities, from talks, seminars, debates and conferences, through to articles and movies. We run events every Monday evening of Oxford term time from 7.15 -8.30pm. Our new Analysis and Outreach team will produce high quality analysis of new developments in climate policy and science, jargon-free, as well as Oxford-based opportunities and video and blog based introductions to climate policy, science and beyond. 2- Connect: Meet other like-minded individuals through our events. 3- Act: i) Participate in one of our campaigns calling for political action on climate change. ii) Become a leading force at OCS and help us organise or publicise future events.
