Established in 1994, UCQ is an independent provider of higher education entirely focused on supporting employers drive the performance of their organisations or businesses through work-based learning and in particular through degree apprenticeships. We combine academic rigour with real world business know-how, and our approach to helping improve results is centred around developing the leadership and management capabilities of both your current and future managers. UCQ provides degree apprenticeships throughout England, and our professional learning centres are located in the six largest metropolitan areas. We offer flexible solutions to taught sessions, and off-the-job learning, blending programme delivery at UCQ locations with client facilities and live webinars, to create programmes which truly meet the needs of our clients. UCQ is one of the first of a new breed of higher education institutes encouraged by Government through the Higher Education and Research Act 2017. By allowing new entrants access to the higher education market, the intention is to stimulate competition in order to drive innovation, raise quality standards and align higher education more closely with employer needs; at UCQ we work hard to get to know our clients' culture, strategy, priorities and operation really well, tailoring what we do to reflect what’s most important to them.
