Reliability, consistency, fast turnaround, and quality of reproduction were achieved by employing state of the art pre-press, printing, finishing equipment and information systems in a modern facility that encourages efficient work practices and loyal staff. Vega was a recognized industry leader locally and internationally in sustainable business practices and carbon management. Amongst a long list of sustainability achievements the company offset all operational greenhouse gas emissions produced from running the business. Systems were installed that minimise water and energy usage. Closed loop water-recycling units on printing presses and efficient digital plate processing equipment contributed to reducing water consumption by over 50%, and Light-Eco energy efficiency units and Power Factor Correction systems saved up to 20% on energy bills.
