More than 21,000 students enrolled in Massachusetts public schools are identified as homeless. The mission of School on Wheels of MA (SOWMA) is to support the academic, social and emotional growth of students impacted by homelessness. We provide customized, grade-level backpacks and school supplies, one-on-one tutoring and mentoring and college assistance to students grades Pre-K trough college-age.
