Network for the Development of Children of African Descent (NdCAD) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The organization's family education center focuses on literacy and cultural enrichment services for children and families as well as professional development programs for schools and educators. NdCAD's feature services/programs include: academic tutoring, parent education, free children's books, culturally-based education resource library, and teacher training workshops. The organization also makes its research- and evidence-based literacy and professional development services available to schools, early childhood programs, and community organizations through its contracted services outreach program.
