Texas Air and Space Museum
www.texasairandspacemuseum.orgDear Patrons and Friends of the Texas Air and Space Museum, Thank you for taking the time and expressing interest in allowing us to share some of our progress and plans for our museum efforts. We've made a significant difference here in Amarillo and the Golden Spread region. As our history and plan show, we will continue to make even a greater positive impact in education and tourism regionally, nationally, and even internationally now with visitors from all 50 states and 106 countries. Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle have been home to five Astronauts, two of which have walked on the moon. We want to inspire our youth to follow in their footsteps and the rich aviation history here. We have added the historic FAA DC3, N34, listed as one of three moveable items on the National Register of Historic Places, as well as a YAK 11 Unlimited Racer. Additional planes, acquisitions, and opportunities await. We need help while we work at our present location to move to our new home here on the airport where we can further implement our plans for growth and sustainability. We are making a difference and would like to ask your direction and ideas, even your participation, to take the Museum and our educational programs further. Sincerely, The board and volunteers of the Texas Air and Space Museum
