AEISG represents all the significant manufacturers and suppliers of blasting explosives in Australasia. The primary goal of AEISG is to continuously improve the level of safety and security throughout the manufacture, transport, storage, handling and use of explosives and their precursors. AEISG liaises with similar explosives associations in other countries including SAFEX, ISEE and FEEM. AEISG also prepares industry submissions on policies, legislation, standards/codes and other issues impacting the explosives industry, and where relevant, seeks political and/or organisational support for the explosives industry position.
