The Town provides general governmental services for the territory within its boundaries, including police and fire protection, solid waste transfer station, a library, street maintenance, and parks and recreational facilities. Water and electric services are supplied by the Town of Littleton Electric Light and Water Departments. Public education in grades K-12 is provided by the Littleton School Department at two elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school.
