Over 2.5 years, we worked with board and management to turn around the company from flat-lining revenue and negative EBIT to high single digit growth and 15% EBIT. Toward the end of our engagement BoConcept was acquired by a private equity firm at 8x the Enterprise Value they had going into the collaboration. 2) Strategy as a Service. We design, plan and run the annual strategy cycle: from opportunity exploration and strategy formulation through operationalization and supporting major strategic initiatives. Client example: SimCorp. During our 6-year engagement SimCorp has 6x’ed Enterprise Value. 3) Strategic Projects. We design and drive discrete initiatives such as corporate strategy, new growth platforms, business model evolution, change programs, sales and service transformations and corporate venturing. Client examples include global brands like Bang & Olufsen, global companies like Kuehne & Nagel, and Nordic based startups with global ambitions such as Dreamlake and Coherra. 4) Strategy Conversations. Think of strategy as a fluid and on-going process of questioning, exploring and assessing macro and micro forces of change instead of a discrete, compactly time boxed project which is done every 3 years. The aim is to identify and assess emerging threats and opportunities, and continuously calibrate the company's position and capabilities in order to circumvent the critical threats and capitalize on the biggest opportunities.
