The Bendigo Spirit compete in the Womens National Basketball League (WNBL). Bendigo Stadium is home to its own world-class basketball team, going around in a world-class stadium, producing world-class results in the WNBL. The Spirit athletes are outstanding role models both on and off the court, and are laying the foundations for the next generation of emerging stars in years to come across Regional Victoria. As Victoria’s only regionally based sporting team competing in a National competition, the Bendigo Spirit have won over the hearts of the Bendigo Community, as well as gaining significant exposure across Australia. The Bendigo Spirit have competed in six final series, and have won two WNBL Championships in 2012/13, and 2013/14.
