We work to ensure that families and individuals affected by mental illness (and substance abuse) in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties can readily access innovative, effective and compassionate services that lead to health and recovery. We do this because everyone is equally entitled to live with hope and lead meaningful lives. We evaluate and secure expert service providers that help people affected by mental illness or substance abuse in our community. We aim to facilitate efficient access to an envelope of personalized services and programs that bridge gaps in the system, provide a continuum of care and help people thrive at their optimal potential. Thriving Mind South Florida is a managing entity contracted with the Department of Children and Families. Thriving Mind has also received support from other Federal, State, County and private sources.
