Lisa has a Master's Degree in Human Performance from Southern Connecticut State University. She started her fitness career in corporate and commercial fitness centers, as a personal trainer and yoga instructor. When she experienced a debilitating back injury in her early twenties, followed by two back surgeries, she realized she needed to change her focus. Her own personal struggle with pain led her to obtain her license in massage therapy and focus on helping people restore proper movement and get out of pain. Her work is continually evolving as she seeks out the latest research and techniques in manual therapy. Lisa has provided bodywork for people of various ages and levels of athletic ability, including beginning exercisers, “weekend warriors”, high school athletes, D1 collegiate athletes, and players in the NHL, NFL, MLB, and Olympians in Track and Field. She also provided massage and Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) for several NFL players in Super Bowl XLVIII, in 2014. "My goal is to match you with the individualized treatment program that you need to move past your limitations, restore proper motor function, and reduce pain throughout your body. Together, we can get your body moving more freely and with more energy, to improve performance at the gym, in sports, and in daily life!"
