Dr. Shaygan is a family medicine, with over ten years experiences as a Family Practitioner. He received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of New College, The Honors college before attending medical school at Central America Health Sciences University. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Shaygan is a member of several prestigious and professional committees, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Physicians Committee of Responsible Medicine. He has also been granted several awards throughout his career, including the Residency Research Award, granted by the Department of Family Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, and the Excellence in Surgery Transport Award, granted by the Auxiliary Club of Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
