The organization is affiliated with the National Juvenile Justice Network (NJJN) to work for a more equitable and fairer youth justice system. CPLI has also assembled two separate public policy and planning workgroups with major stakeholders involved: The Positive School Discipline Institute and the Decriminalization of Youth Workgroups. From coordinating a year-long initiative for training school personnel on positive school discipline strategies to focusing on reforming public policies that increase the risk of justice-system involvement, CPLI is aiding national momentum to make our justice system a fairer and humane one for all children.
