Strategy for Environmental Development (SED) is founded in Bangladesh in light of the motto “Carbon Neutral Bangladesh”. Bangladesh is the country currently affected heavily from the cause of climate change. Also some man made causes damages the environment of the Country. Global warming and change of weather patterns originated many complications and affected both directly and indirectly the whole environment with its ecology. The amount of forest reduced grisly. The seasons are changing and it gets warmer day by day. Winter season is shrunken and rivers are dried. The sea level is rising and already some of the area is under water. Saltiness spreads throughout the land and damaged the trees and animals. Overall, the environmental condition is so vulnerable in Bangladesh. The amount of forests & trees are reducing in accordance with the increasing of industry, mill, population etc. To reduce the amount of CO2 and increasing the amount of forests and trees from the development perspective is the main aim of the Strategy for Environmental Development (SED).
