Energasia has been developing technology and creating business processes for cost-effective solutions for Smart Cities in India. In our quest to be foremost in this field, we along with our partners have designed a solution for a wireless smart street light communication system that can integrate with various existing outdoor (street furniture like streetlights, waste bins, traffic signals, bus shelter, etc.) and indoor furniture to wirelessly collect and transmit any kind of data bi-directionally. Such data collected can be used to analyse, and activate controller’s to perform desired functions. Thus optimising the cost of operations. We have also built an open-ended communication platform for Internet of Things (IoT) for smart cities. Application of Smart Solutions enables cities to use technology, information and data to improve infrastructure and services. Comprehensive development in this way will improve quality of life, create employment and enhance incomes for all, especially the poor and the disadvantaged, leading to inclusive cities. The purpose of the Smart cities mission is to drive economic growth and improve the quality of life of people by enabling local area development and harnessing technology, especially technology that leads to smart outcomes.
