Founded in Burbank, CA in 1959 Wilson’s Metal Exchange (WME) began as a family owned operation purchasing scrap metal from Southern California's growing manufacturing sector. In 2012, after over 50 years WME outgrew the original location and relocated to San Fernando, CA. WME’s modern facility encompasses 2.77 acres and has over 40,000 sq. ft. of secure warehouse and processing space. For over 5 decades WME has evolved into a full service scrap metal company providing clients tailormade recycling and environmental solutions. Throughout the years WME has added locations, increased services offered and developed long term relationships with a large network of primary and secondary consumers both in the United States and abroad. By leveraging our sizeable supply chain and our consumer relationships WME is able to pay our clients the highest possible return for their scrap metal assets while assisting them in cutting costs and reducing liabilities.
