www.casaitalianaentepromotore.orgCasa Italiana Ente Promotore DC is a non -profit organization supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). Our mission is the teaching of the Italian language and the promotion of Italian culture in the Consular Jurisdiction of Washington DC. Our organization has three main goals: 1) The inclusion of Advanced Placement curricular courses (AP) in Italian in public and private schools in the Washington DC area and some counties of the states of Maryland and Virginia through the close collaboration of the Education Office of the Italian Embassy. 2) Teaching Italian to students who are Italian native speakers and are living abroad. Our "Integrative Courses" are designed in collaboration with the Education Office of the Italian Embassy and the University for Foreigners of Siena (Italy) and follow the Italian government curricula adopting the same textbooks used in Italian schools. The courses are essential for gaining recognition by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) for Italian studies completed outside of Italy. 3) The promotion of Italian culture in Washington DC through a wide array of events: conferences, exhibitions, seminars, shows and theatrical productions, workshops and much more.
